History of Binding
For a long time, book-binding was not a craft known for its innovation. Many of today’s traditional binding techniques do not differ substantially from the first binding machines (which dated from the 16th century). A major breakthrough in modern times came in 1983, when Kevin Parker invented his initial prototypes.
