The secret of our amazing page strength (sheets withstand 50lbs of pull) is that our thermoplastic, adhesive strips virtually lock each page into place from the sides as well as the edge.

Specialized adhesive properties

Gluing, stapling or sewing are no longer necessary because 3 specialized adhesive formulations in different areas of the strip optimize strength, adhesion and bindability.

Intelligently designed

All strips (except the LX strips) have our patented Smart Strip™ technology built in so your binding machine automatically recognizes the strip and configures itself accordingly. There's no need to manually set machines.

Perfect binding (in more ways than one)

Our core perfect binding strip (Perfectback^® TA) binds wraparound paperback covers with a temperature activated adhesive. Using that technology as a base, we've developed two other Perfectback^® strips with advanced capabilities.

Perfectback^® LF: Creates perfect binding that allows the book to Lie Flat when opened.

Perfectback^® PS: Uses a Pressure Sensitive adhesive so the final bind is done without heat. Ideal for heat-sensitive laser printed covers.

Our latest development

The PhotoPro™ Strip helps solve the problem of binding glossy, coated papers (usually for photo books). It is designed to work with pages that have been prepared in our paper Splitter™ and it provides strongest adhesion and most effective absorption into the paper fibres.
